{first of all:} Music Modernization Act [MMA]:
independant composers, please, register your works with The Mechanical Licensing Collective.
US Copyright Office has posted that "songwriters and music publishers must register with The MLC using its online claiming portal to receive royalty payments under the new blanket license."
-----
secondly:
when you visit a YouTube channel, 1- please, "Follow" [well, "Subscribe"], especially if you vibe with the content and 2- always remember to check out the About tab because that's the most likely place you'll find all relevant links [even more likely than a Linktr.ee-ish type thing] and so that you know that those links are not scam/imposter links.-----
with all of the changes that have been made at US Copyright Office [including the beginning of the Copyright [Small] Claims Board (CCB)] and with Twitch's DMCA Guidlines, this year--and because of my limitations with my internet--i have decided to push back my goal to begin streaming as a hobby and as an alternative mean for socializing until August 2022.
i might begin streaming sooner; it all depends on the variables, of course.
whether in August or sooner, i hope to play music as [cocktail] party ambience for my stream. by August, i will have [definitely] purchased copies of everything that i'd like to play from Amazon Music as well as from the artists'/bands' shops directly. i will also continue my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription, of course. {if you're a "streamer" and you prefer Spotify, i highly recommend paying for a subscription there; same with YouTube Premium.}
the main thing i need to figure out, during this goal extension, is the delivery, so there are going to be a lot of "testing, testing, testing" streams. Melon seems to not have a feature for direct audio capture [so that music played doesn't have to be picked up by the mic], and that feature might be the crux.
the Amazon Music Extension for Twitch doesn't work with the mobile app, for one, and i would like to be free to play any of my purchased music even if it's from a record or cassette and not from Amazon Music; the audio jack on my laptop doubles as an aux-in jack for certain things.
i might try XSplit, and Twitch Studio seems to be the most [cost-]effective solution for whole stream delivery. i wish i can afford Wirecast, since BroadCam is incompatible with Twitch. even Restream is expensive; i'm "sweating in poor".
maybe, after i've upgraded my hotspot device with T-Mobile, Twitch Studio will be a more viable option for me, after all. some days, i'll wish i can just do audio with butt and Icecast; my cousin had been a "personality" for a website called Hypnotik Radio, and that kind of thing is its own mess as copyrights-n-things go, so i would do butt streams with no music.
the popular overlay/studio services are resource hogs, as my wallet and pc go.
besides, across-the-board compatibility [for me] is almost more important than brand familiarity. for instance, i fully recommend NCH Software; i have been using their software for all but 20 years, and i cannot use BroadCam for my stream production. Twitch Studio works with Twitch, of course, and my wallet and [maybe, someday] my internet will work with it; i can use NCH programs for the rest of my stream production.

i like to call Halocene my "House Band", and i figure there are a lot of good reasons for that. the idea of a House Band is that they're "resident" to the [venue]. {in this case, though, there's no contract nor obligation or anything; it's just something fun i like to say, and it's a mneumonic device for me in remembering to not take for granted that i have any entitlement nor that their music is free.}
when i finally get to stream, i'd like to play their music most days and, on the days when i play Halocene's music, i would forward all tips that i get to them as well as encourage my viewers to tip them directly [even when they're offline]. i haven't yet decided what i'll do, if i get no tips any given day. {of course, also, i highly encourage purchase of their music.}
{i say, "most days", and i will be streaming only one day/week for an hour and a half [after my Path To Affiliate Week, which will be eight days straight and an hour and a half per day].}
for now, Halocene has my Twitch Prime Subscription; it's been a little inconsistent, though, because i don't tune in every day. two of my moderators [diesel_r8j and blackforest_knight] have chosen to auto-host only Halocene on their Twitch profiles. hopefully, soon, i'll have my budget worked out and will have a Tier 3 subscription.
i am also a happy {though my PTSD tells me that i'm likely annoying as Hell} subscriber to Halocene on Patreon.
for news on when Halocene goes live on Twitch, you can "Follow" them on Amazon Music, ensure that your push notifications are on, and Amazon Music will notify you when they've gone live on Twitch; it's kind of hit and miss, i admit, though, as all other such notifications are.
you can get "going live" notifications from "Following" them on also Twitter, YouTube, and [of course] Twitch and Discord.
i had gotten "going live" notifications from Spotify last year, though that was short-lived and i don't remember whom those notifications were for.

furthermore, i highly encourage you to check out The Pulse.

i am a happy subscriber to, also, Sina Doe on Patreon.
last year, i was watching Skarlett Riot's videos on YouTube, and Sina started coming up in my Recommendeds.
in my opinion, she's another amazing drummer, and her work ethic is admirable.
